Sofia is 20 years old and lives in Paris. She draws from the world around her, and most of all from the people in it. "I think what inspires me the most is the connection with others," she says. "Whether through friendship, family, or love, I draw inspiration from everything that human relationships bring me and make me feel."

Sharing the work is its own act of courage. "It can sometimes feel intimidating to share what I create. It is a way of revealing a part of myself, my emotions, or things that I cannot always express through words," she says. "But it is also an opportunity to share positive messages with others."

“The desire to draw always comes back.”

She has made peace with the irregular rhythms of making. "There are days when I feel overflowing with creativity, and others when I feel more intimidated by the blank page in front of me. I've learned to give myself time and not force things." The patience, she has found, is always rewarded. "The desire to draw always comes back."

"Often, all it takes is a trigger, a meeting, a landscape, or a moment of inspiration to unlock the creative process."
